'Clams' with the MostFit Resistance Loop

Low back pain, herniated discs, patellofemoral pain syndrome, jumper's knee, runner's knee, patellar tendonitis, ankle sprains, flat feet, and posterior tibial tendonitis are just a few of the diagnoses of the athletes I treat with this awesome exercise. Our glutes (gluteus maximus and medius specifically), are huge muscles that primarily extend, abduct and externally rotate our femur on our pelvis. As our foot hits the ground during walking or running, there is a tremendous amount of force that wants to make our femurs adduct and internally rotate (knees turn in and move toward the center of our body). As our femur rotates in, our tibia and ankle follow, contributing to excessive foot pronation or flat feet . This horrible downward spiral can be reversed and/or prevented with some hip strengthening. The clams with a MostFit Resistance Loop are a go-to for all my athletes and patients who require strong hips to prevent this horrible knock knee/flat foot syndrome.
